Cutting and Trimming

At Dejond, we offer immediate metal processing services. We can customize all your pieces in aluminium, stainless steel, copper, and brass at our Metal Service Center by cutting or trimming them to size.

Sheets

We cut all sheets up to a maximum length of 4m and a maximum thickness of 5mm perfectly to size and in the desired shape. The key components in sheet cutting are a fixed lower blade, a moving upper blade, and a clamping or support mechanism. Cutting is achieved by moving the upper blade downwards along the fixed lower blade. Clamping prevents the sheet material from tilting or moving between the blades.

Standard Tolerances

• Dimensions: ± 0.2 to 0.3 mm per running meter (for a length of 4000 mm, this is ± 1 mm)
• Narrower tolerances are possible upon request
