Working at Dejond

"The job of your life"

… starts at Dejond? Who starts at Dejond, stays at Dejond!

Dejond has already been synonymous with ‘metal’ for more than 115 years. Throughout the years we have grown to become an important supplier of non-ferrous metals and building and fastening systems. We also enjoy international repute as the producer of TUBTARA® blind rivet nuts. From our production unit in Wilrijk we are mainly operating in the Benelux and northern France. At world level we are operating as a permanent supplier of customers in aviation, the automotive world, building, construction and the general manufacturing industry. We are thankful for that, and extremely proud to boot.

We particularly owe our success story to the close affiliation with our employees. Working at Dejond means being part of a family culture in which you are spontaneously involved in the work process, with respect for your values and desires. The job of your life starts at Dejond.

"Metal Matters", but our employees matter even more

We operate in a tight employment market, which is indeed a challenge with our ambitions for growth in mind. We optimise our internal operations to ease the work pressure associated with our growth, and in so doing set out a path for a better retention policy. This project strives for a positive organisation culture with self-assured employees, better support for (new) colleagues and greater appreciation. That is why we use financial support from the ‘European Union and Flanders is work’ (ESF) to focus on:

  • Career and training policy
  • Performance review cycles and rewards system
  • Work flexibility
  • Recruitment and Selection

Competence enhancement

Our employees are offered every opportunity to develop to a maximum, that’s what it’s all about. Investment in competence enhancement is also a part of the approach. One example is the further development of social and digital skills as well as literacy skills. Together with ESF we deliver.
